The following Whisky pages were setup as a labour of love for Whisky and all things related in Scotland, more especially Malt Whisky.

A lot of people, Scots included, find whisky rather harsh to drink. Some even dislike the smell. What I would say is that there are literally a thousand different types of whiskies out there are there will be one that suits each individuals palette. For example I absolutely love the smell and taste of Laphroaig. But I can equally say that there are plenty of people that dislike the peaty, medicinal smell and even more that cannot stand the taste.

That's what makes whisky unique and exciting.
